Workouts past few weeks
Whats up everybody, something went horribly wrong last time i tried to post this, so i will try again.
This time of year, we are basically trying to race tired. Only about 1 day completely off a week, so our legs are pretty beat up. but its all for the glory at the end i guess, whatever that may be
Thursday 03/25- 3x150 accells, 2x2x150 @ 15.9-16.3 ( huge tailwind) then 3x200 @ 26 2 min rest
Friday 03/26- 3x350 @ 50
Saturday 03/27- off
Sunday 03/28- 3x150 speedmakers, 1x450 @ 60... wasnt feeling to well, coach had me stop after
Monday 03/29- 8x200 @ 28 1:30 rest
Tuesday 03/30- Bike and lift- horrible weather out
Wendsday 03/31- 3x300 @ 38,38, 40 ( goal pace was 40) 4 min rest
Thursday 04/01- 3x150 speedmakers, accells, 1x60, 1x80, 1x100, 1x120, 1x150 full recovery
Friday 04/02- premeet and handoffs
Saturday 04/03- Race- First real outdoor 200 since High school! totally forgot how intense the 200 is compared to the 400, so i ran it like i was running a 400. hopefully i will get more chances. 200 ( pr lol)- 21.88 and 4x400 split 47.2- felt relaxed ran all alone
Sunday 04/04- off
Monday 04/05- Short sprint day- 3x150 speedmakers, lots of accells, high knees into sprints, etc all the good stuff. then finished up with 4x60m from a fly with walk around track recovery
Tuesday 04/06- 3x150 speedmakers, 1x350 @ 46 R= 15 min then 6x200 @ 26 2 min rest
Wendsday 04/07- Bike and lifting
Thursday 04/08- 3x150 speedmakers, 3x3x60m R= walk back recovery between reps, 7 min between sets
